It didn’t affect him in my opinion, he was just using it as an excuse to be violent and destructive. McVeigh claimed to be upset at the deaths of children, yet he blew up a building with a daycare center and killed children himself. He was a complete hypocrite and just wanted to be some kind of big-name martyr to anarchists in my opinion, when in reality, he was just a weedy psychopath wanting a power trip.
